Below you will find all the forms and information you need to run a successful Chapter. Please take the time to go over all of the forms and PDFs before they are due and feel free to ask questions. Whenever a new board steps in, have them come to this page and familiarize themselves with the Starting and Running an IDAL Chapter PDF and the other PDFs and forms.
Running a Chapter doesn’t have to be difficult but it can seem daunting if you don’t have all of the information you need. This is why the Starting and Running an IDAL Chapter PDF was created. In it you will find everything from how to run a meeting to how to fill out required forms to what a newsletter can look like. This is an invaluable tool for helping your Chapter run smoothly and making sure your Chapter meets its legal, IRS and IDAL National requirements.
Annual Chapter Report
This is one of the few reports required by IDAL each year. If you have been keeping good records throughout the year, you should be able to fill out the forms and pull together all needed paperwork in a few hours. Make sure to include the entire board in this process as it makes things go much smoother. This report is due on or before February 28 each year. Chapters that do not turn in Annual Chapter Reports will lose their affiliation.
Adele Bishop Scholarship - 2012 Winner of the $850 Scholarship - The Distelfink Artisans
Started in 1996, the scholarship is a great way to build solidarity within your Chapter and help your community, not to mention the scholarship money you can win for your Chapter. You can't win if you don’t enter so read through the application and get your philanthropic project started.
All Chapters voted in new Bylaws in 2008. This was done to fulfill IRS requirements as well as to unify the procedures and rules of all IDAL Chapters.
