FEATURE ARTICLES We seek a variety of articles at all levels: beginner, hobbyist, and professional. You’re an artist, not a writer? Don’t worry. Start by sending a query with a description of the article you have in mind, and the Artisphere editor will work with you to develop the text. (Note: writing assistance is a benefit for IDAL members only.) What to write?
HOW TO SUBMIT TEXT: Recommended limit is 1000 words. We will accept longer manuscripts if appropriate to the subject. The best rule: say what you have to say and then stop. Paste text only into the body of an email. Please remove page numbers, headers, footers, and unusual formatting before sending. email to: artisphere@decorativeartisans.org HOW TO SUBMIT GRAPHICS: After receiving your text submission, the Artisphere editor will provide a link and password to our ftp site where you can upload hi-res photos, illustrations, and other graphics. For best reproduction, graphics should be approximately 2400 by 3600 pixels. We can work with all standard formats: jpg, tiff, raw, etc. |
